How to use iPad File Explorer
- First, You need to download iPad File Explorer by clicking here.
There will be a popup screen asking you to Run or Save the file, recommend you to save the file. (for example to "Libraries\Documents\Downloads" )

- Once you finished downloading the program, you probaly want to install it.

1) Click "Run" to install
2) Click "Open Folder" will go to the folder contains the downloaded file, then find it and run installation.
3) Click "Run" when the "Open File - Security Warning" pops up

4) The welcome screen will come up to start the installation process

5)At the end of installation, you will have a chance to run iPad File Explorer, with the "Launch iPad File Explorer" checked and click "Finish"

- When you run iPad File Explorer at first time, you will see the welcome screen and then registration screen
1) Welcome screen. To disable this screen when program starts, please uncheck the option "Show this screen when startup"

2) Registration Screen. This screen allows you to enter registration code and click "Activate" to unlock the limitations.

- Connect your iPhone / iPad to your PC
- When you connect your iPhone/iPad to PC, iPad File Explorer will recoganize your iPhone/iPad and list the contents and other information.

A) Switch to device firmware storage, this is only available with jailbreaking.
B) Switch to device built-in SD Card storage, this is the normal place for us to store data. And this is the default for iPhone/iPad with or without jailbreaking.
C) File folder tree view of the file system on iPhone/iPad.
D) List view of file system on iPhone/iPad.
E) Capacity information of current device. Total capacity and used.
F) List of connected devices. All other information are for the current selected device.
G) Status of the device. If there is no device connected to PC, this status will show as "Disconnect".
H) This is a quick option to allow preview by single clicking on previewable file.
I) This is a filter for preview. 0 means no limitation, otherwise, only files smaller that the value can be previewed automatically.
- When you right click the treeview on selected item, this menu will be popup

"New Folder..." - Create new folder under current selected folder
"Rename" - rename current selected folder
"Download To..." - copy the folder including all files and sub folders to PC computer
"Upload Files..." - Will allow you copy folders and files from PC computer to current selected folder
"Delete" - Delete the selected folder (Be careful to use this feature, because the operation cannot be recovered.)
- Right click in file list view, there will also be a popup menu
"Preview" - Preview selected file manually. (Only supported files can be previewed)
"Rename" - Rename selected file or folder
"Download To..." - Copy selected folders and files to PC Computer
"Upload Files..." - Copy files to current selected folder on iPhone/iPad
"Upload Directory..." - Copy folder on PC (including subfolders and files ) to iPhone / iPad
"Delete" - Delete selected folders and files on iPhone / iPad (Be careful that this operation cannot be recovered)
